Free TV in high-definition. Those are words you don’t hear often. But with SwellHD+, you can watch your favorite shows in crystal-clear, 1080p HD.
More than 90 out of 100 shows are broadcast for free over the air. SwellHD+ antenna makes it easy to tap into those shows without having to subscribe to an expensive cable plan. In minutes, you’ll have access to live TV shows, events, sports, scripted programs and more.
Why spend hundreds of dollars a month on cable when you don’t have to? Kick your cable provider to the curb, and enjoy unlimited access to over-the-air TV programming.
SwellHD+ is easy to use, and it’s completely legal. I’ve seen a lot of positive SwellHD+ reviews, and I can see why. This antenna is discreet, picks up HD signals and is built to last.
When most people think of TV antennas, they think of those old-fashioned “bunny ears” sticking out of the top of the television set. Technology has come a long way since the early days of TV. Modern TV antennas have such as discreet design, guests won’t even notice them.
In fact, SwellHD+ has such a slim profile, you can hang it behind pictures, under cabinets, on windows or behind the TV – where no one ever looks.
Unobtrusive and compact, SwellHD+ was designed using military tech. You know it’s durable and powerful if it’s built using military technology.
Here’s a quick rundown of this antenna’s technical specs:
The SwellHD+ antenna comes with everything you need to mount it onto a wall, or wherever you please – no tools required. The razor-thin design allows it to blend in with the décor in your home. You never have to worry about your antenna sticking out like a sore thumb.
As an indoor antenna, SwellHD+ is compatible with HD receiver boxes, laptops and computers. I like this feature a lot because you’re not glued to the television. You can watch TV on just about any device you want.
And with multi-directional reception, you can get a crystal-clear signal without having to worry about repointing the antenna.
That was my biggest issue with a lot of indoor antennas. I hated having to move it around the house just to find the best spot to get a strong signal.
Plus, SwellHD+ has a range of 30 miles and receives signals in 1080p HDTV. If you have an amplifier, you can boost the signal to 50 miles. That’s an impressive range. You should be able to pick up on a lot of channels with that kind of range.
If you’re worried that you won’t have much of a selection when it comes to TV shows, don’t be. There are more channels and programs available than you think. Don’t believe me? Check out the FCC’s DTC reception maps.
You’ll be able to watch major networks, like:
According to SwellHD+, more than 90 of the top 100 TV programs are free and broadcasted over the air.
Streaming is great, but in many cases, you can’t watch live programming. That means that you miss out on local and national news, sports, events and pretty much anything else that isn’t a scripted show.
Even if you can watch live events on streaming services, the quality is sketchy. It may cut out if a lot of people are watching, or you may not be able to view it in HD. With an indoor antenna like SwellHD+, there’s no need to worry about an interrupted stream or a poor-quality picture.
The great thing about using an indoor TV antenna is that you never have to worry about signing contracts or committing to a year of cable. You just buy the antenna, hook it up (assembly takes minutes) and start watching.
One thing I do have to stress: You won’t be able to watch any premium channels. HBO, Cinemax, Starz and other subscription channels aren’t available. Premium channels have premium content, which is why you pay an additional monthly fee for them.
If you’re like me, you probably don’t have these channels anyway. You’re looking to save money, right? Why would you want to pay even more for cable just to watch a few good shows. You can probably just buy the season on Amazon or watch it on Netflix anyway.
What I’m trying to say is that you probably won’t be missing out on anything with an indoor antenna. Unless you’re subscribed to all of the premium channels, you won’t even notice not having them.
But just about every other channel is free, and you can get a lot of those channels with the SwellHD+ indoor antenna.
My biggest issue with SwellHD+ is that customer service isn’t that responsive. That turned me off a little, but the product’s quality makes up for this. If I had experienced a lot of issues with this antenna, the customer service issue would have been a serious concern.
After a careful review, I would rate SwellHD+ 91%. I like that you don’t have to fiddle around with the position of the antenna to get a good signal. Because it has a multi-directional signal, you can mount it just about anywhere and it will pick up a signal.
I also like that this antenna can be mounted without any special tools or hardware. Its thin, light design makes it easy to hide behind things on the wall. You don’t even need to put a nail in the wall to mount it. But even if you don’t want to do that, the design of the antenna won’t become an eyesore. It’s thin, modern, sleek design will blend right in with your home’s décor.
